Launch of the FFW Privacy and Information Law Blog

Posted on March 31st, 2011 by

Privacy and information management have never been more business critical than today.  As technology evolves and law develops, knowing where to stand in a world of conflicting priorities is a tough challenge for privacy professionals worldwide.  We launch this blog today with the aim of tackling that challenge.

We are a team of enthusiastic and specialist lawyers and business advisors who are keen to reach out beyond our clients and core contacts.  We want to share our knowledge, our thoughts and our interest in this fascinating area.  We want to contribute to the debate, pose some questions and hopefully provide some answers.

We hope that this blog will be a useful point of reference for those who are challenged by issues like the scope of personal data, the role of consent, the controller/processor conundrum, the right to be forgotten, cybersecurity, the accountability principle, the quest for adequacy and so many other ever evolving questions.

Our contribution starts here.
